Welcome to Specialized Deer Processing. We proudly serve hunters and farmers throughout Mid-Michigan with professional deer, beef, and pork processing services.

By using our website or services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Scheduling & Drop-Off Requirements

All drop-offs must be scheduled in advance to ensure we have a staff member available to process the intake.

Customers are required to call ahead to arrange a drop-off time.

Processing forms may be:

  • Downloaded and completed in advance, or

  • Filled out at the time of drop-off

Processing Services

We offer a variety of deer processing services, including but not limited to:

  • Standard cuts (steaks, roasts, tenderloins, backstraps, burger)

  • Specialty items (jerky, snack sticks, summer sausage, bratwurst, etc.)

  • Optional items such as stew and canning meat, bones, and more

Customers are responsible for clearly indicating their preferences on the processing forms.

Customer Requests (Hide, Head, etc.)

Customers may request to keep:

  • Hide

  • Head

These requests must be communicated at the time of drop-off.

Pricing & Market Fluctuations

All pricing is subject to change based on market conditions.

While we make every effort to keep pricing on our website accurate and up to date, final order pricing is determined by current market value at the time of processing.

Additional factors that may affect pricing include:

  • Hanging weight

  • Processing selections

  • Specialty items requested

Order Completion & Pickup

Customers will be notified when their order is ready for pickup.

It is the customer’s responsibility to pick up their order in a timely manner.

A daily late fee will be applied to any orders not picked up within the designated timeframe after notification.

Liability

Specialized Deer Processing is not responsible for:

  • Meat quality issues resulting from field handling or condition at drop-off

  • Delays caused by high seasonal volume or unforeseen circumstances

We take every reasonable step to ensure safe, high-quality processing.
